I oversaw the creation over an hour of animation for this four part documentary miniseries for HBO. My team and I brought old photos to life by cutting them out and animating them in a DIY stop motion style. We combined hand drawn animations with the photos and kaleidoscopic imagery to create a larger than life, hyper stylized look. We also created all the titles, newspaper and photo treatments.
